My name is Tiffiny. I am a wife and a mother to a beautiful, extroverted, intelligent, and quirky 4- year-old daughter. I was a lawyer by trade and have a very OCD way of doing things, managing my life and the world around me. When my daughter was born, I was a devout book and google mother ensuring that I would get everything right in raising and educating our daughter. However, as time went on, I realized the books failed to mention that these little people eventually develop into their own with a mind of their own and will of a thunderstorm!
This led me to research various resources of information and methodology as well as coping (for mom and child) with milestones, developmental areas, tantrums, boredom, fussy eating….just to name a few and survival to say the least. I landed up with files compiled with tons of various activities, pintables, expert opinions, meal plans, playtime ideas, alternative therapies, to equip myself with anything that came my way.
I am truly fortunate that my mother is a qualified Montessori directress and have applied a lot of the Montessori teaching methods and tools to assist my daughter over the past 4 years. I do not religiously only follow and offer Montessori ideas and methods as I have learnt to become more flexible and believe that there should be a balance in your child’s life.
I started this blog to share with you the vast amount of information, ideas, and resources that I have created and tested that have worked for me and my daughter over the years
